The Alishan Forest Railway<\/strong> is a famous train in Taiwan. It travels through beautiful mountains and forests in the south of Taiwan. Many people from all over the world come to ride this special train every year. The railway is very important to Taiwan.<\/p>\n

The railway is very old. It started over 100 years ago, in 1906. Workers built it to carry wood from the r\u1eebng<\/strong> down to the city. Today, it carries tourists who want to see the beautiful views of Alishan. It is one of Taiwan’s most popular attractions.<\/p>\n

The train travels up the n\u00fai<\/strong> slowly. Sometimes it goes through a tunnel<\/strong> cut into the rock. The journey takes several hours, but the views are amazing.
